1. Introduction
EvPOS is a POS and marketplace platform for electric-vehicle service stations. It connects customers with station owners for charging, reservations, F&B orders, and other on-site services. We respect your privacy and protect personal data in accordance with applicable Vietnamese law.
This Policy explains what data EvPOS collects, how we use, store, and share it, and your rights when using evpos.com.vn and the EvPOS mobile app (together, the Platform).
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. Who this applies to
- Customers: find stations, scan QR codes, charge vehicles, reserve ports, order F&B / other services, and pay with EvPOS Wallet.
- Station owners (Partners): manage stations, POS orders, pricing, devices, and revenue.
- Website visitors of evpos.com.vn.
The Platform is intended for users aged 18+ or legally registered business entities.
3. Information we collect
3.1. Account information
When you register or sign in (phone number, email, or Google), we may collect: name, phone number, email address, profile photo (uploaded by you or provided by the sign-in provider), account ID, and EvPOS Wallet ID.
3.2. Location
With your permission, the app uses location to show nearby stations, verify QR scan range at a charger, and improve service accuracy. We do not continuously track background location when you are not using location-dependent features.
3.3. Camera
The app uses the camera to scan charger QR codes, wallet codes, or order codes. Camera frames are processed on-device to read codes. EvPOS does not store camera video/images unless you actively upload photos (avatar, reviews, station photos).
3.4. Transactions and payments
- Top-up, transfer, withdrawal, and payment history for charging / F&B / other services
- EvPOS Wallet balance and transaction references
- Bank-transfer metadata for QR top-ups — we do not store credit/debit card numbers on EvPOS servers
Bank payments are processed by partners (e.g. SePay / VietQR). EvPOS receives payment notifications to update wallet balances.
3.5. Service usage
Charging sessions (time, power, kWh, station, port); F&B and other service orders; port reservations; reviews; and technical logs (device type, OS, app version, IP address, access time) for security and operations.
3.6. Station-owner information
If you register as a station owner: station address/details, legal documents, bank account for withdrawals, station/device photos, and pricing / catalog configuration.
3.7. Information you provide
Review content, support messages, and station registration forms on the website.
3.8. Push notifications
If allowed, EvPOS may send notifications about charging sessions, orders, reservations, and wallet transactions. You can disable this in device settings at any time.
4. How we use information
- Provide and operate Platform services
- Authenticate accounts and secure sessions
- Process payments, wallet top-ups/withdrawals, and eligible refunds
- Send service-related notifications
- Customer support and dispute resolution
- Fraud prevention and abuse detection
- Comply with legal obligations
- Improve product experience and reliability
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your personal data. Information may be shared with:

We do not share data with third parties for advertising without your consent.
6. Storage and security
Data is stored on systems appropriate for serving users in Vietnam. EvPOS applies HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, and reasonable technical/organizational measures to protect accounts.
No system is perfectly secure. Please keep passwords and OTP codes confidential.
Retention: for as long as your account remains active, plus a reasonable period after deletion to meet legal duties. Transaction / accounting records are typically retained for up to 5 years or as required by tax and accounting law.
7. Your rights
- Access and update your profile in the app
- Request export or deletion of personal data (except data we must keep by law)
- Withdraw location, camera, or notification permissions in device settings
- Lodge a privacy complaint via the contact channels below
We will respond within the time required by law after verifying your identity.
8. Children
EvPOS is not directed at users under 18 and we do not knowingly collect children’s data. If we learn that such data was collected, we will delete it.
9. Cookies (website)
evpos.com.vn may use session and functional cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser; some website features may then be limited.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The latest version is published at:
